What does your gutter cleaning service include?

We provide thorough vacuum cleaning of all accessible gutters and downpipes using industrial-grade vacuums. Photos can be provided upon request.

How long does the gutter cleaning take?

Our standard job includes up to 2 hours (including setup and pack down). Heavy debris may require extra time and will incur addition fees, charged per half hour.

Do you clean downpipes too?

Yes. We vacuum accessible downpipes and use garden hoses for flushing. If still blocked, we’ll recommend a licensed roofing plumber.

Do you service all types of homes?

We service most single and double-storey homes. The quote applies to the main dwelling only unless otherwise arranged.

How does your gutter vacuum system work?

We use powerful commercial vacuums with high-reach poles to safely and effectively clean gutters from the ground or roof.

Do you always work from the roof?

No. We use ground-level systems where possible. However, some jobs require roof access with proper safety equipment.

Are your technicians trained and insured?

Yes – at BJS HMS, all our technicians we are fully trained and insured. We invest in ongoing training to ensure our team in up to date with the latest industry standards and safety practices. Our insurance coverage provides peace of mind for our clients.

What safety procedures do you follow?

We use harnesses, anchor points, stabilised ladders, and conduct full site risk assessments. Unsafe conditions may cause delays.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes. We have full Public Liability Insurance. Proof can be provided on request.

📆 Booking, Payments & Cancellations

How do I book a service?

Bookings can be made by phone, email, or through our website. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations result in the deposit being non-refundable.

What happens in bad weather?

If it’s unsafe (heavy rain, high winds), we’ll reschedule and contact you as soon as possible.

Do I need to be home during the service?

No, as long as we have access to the work area, and water/power. Please ensure pets are secured and gates are unlocked.

Do you take away the gutter debris?

We leave debris neatly in your garden or green waste area. For removal, a $20 disposal fee applies.

What if trees or branches are blocking access?

We can provide a tree/branch trimming service for a fee of $60, removal of green waste will incur additional fees along with local dump fee, please send us an email to enquire.
